ABOUT THE FOUNDER
Apostle Samuel Michael Duncans is the Founder and President of Royal Efficacy Ministry International (REMI), and World Living Ark Chapel. Duncans travels frequently for mission’s work, with much compassion. He is also committed to reaching the poor in rural Ghanaian communities.

He has a calling to reach out to orphans, vulnerable children and to impact the youth for a fervent Christian living through the sharing of the gospel of Jesus Christ. He inspires the youth to live their individual lives with competence and selflessness. He propels them to realize their dreams and visions.

With the Apostolic mandate bestowed upon him and his simplest way of teachings makes the word of God more practical and applicable.

He sounds a wake-up call that challenges his listeners to step up on the line with kingdom readiness to advance the course of the gospel and to subsequently fulfill God’s divine agenda on earth. His desire is not only reaching out to the lost souls and the poor in rural communities but he also holds leadership seminars for ministers and leaders in local churches for edification, deepening unity and sharing of information to strengthen the feeble hands.

My personal first mission trip experience.
As it was when Jesus said in Mark 16:15 “And He said unto them, go ye into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature”. It is the same today.

My first rural mission trip took place on 2004 at Ga South District of Ghana, as I travelled only to pay a visit to my big brother Samuel Ayiku Laryea on the mission field he had been posted to, at a village call Kofi Kwei, I together moved with him later to a remote communityfor missionary work.

There, I encountered some young folks who were desiring the gospel of Jesus Christ, which they believed was worth following than the idols they have been worshiping in the village for ages. This is where my life changed and had compassion for needy in rural communities, especially the need for them to hear the gospel been preached across.

One thing I quickly noticed while touring the neighboring communities, was how almost all the villages around practiced IDOL WORSHIP. This greatly impacted my conviction to advance the gospel of Jesus Christ within these communities. While still there, some of the youths came to me and asked that I should talk to the missionary [Samuel Ayiku Laryea] not to leave them too early, as it has being happening all the time. Missionaries have been coming to the community and leave in short time due to the deprived state of the villages.

The youth asked that the Missionary stay and teach them about the Bible, in order for them to know more about Jesus Christ. It was this deep yearning for the Gospel which I perceived amongst these youths that continues to propel and give me the drive to do the things that I do today. Today rural missionary work forms the core of what REMI Missions does. This is how my love and passion for rural missionary work was birthed.

In the face of numerous challenges, my passion to work for God grows even stronger!
